This flower is very very small.
Though they are not an uncommon plant, they don't attract attention due to they are so small.

Frog's season has come.
You can hear their croaking in the Aoba-no-mori forest.

In the river, a frog tried to hide under a rock. But he couldn't unfortunately.

ZUIHODEN, which is the mausoleum of the first feudal lord of Sendai-Han built about 400 years ago, is located in western part of Sendai city.

In front of the entrance gate of ZUIHODEN, a plum tree is standing.
This tree is called as "GARYOBAI" due to the standing way like a laying dragon.

Though it is little past the peak in bloom season now, I'm lucky I could see the blooms.

I went in the "Aoba-no-mori" forest in Sendai city.
It had snowed yesterday.

The view around me was almost white due to snow covered the ground.

I found a dead flower of Atractylodes japonica (called "Okera" in Japanese) on the walking road side.
The leaves were etched by winds, rains and snows.
And the leaves had become "skeleton" by just only veins.

It seems to be cold.

It is March now.
But, it is still winter.

A last red-colored nut on a tree was found.
It invoked me the coldness.

In the forest "Aoba-no-mori" you can easily see many kinds of wild flowers though it is located in Sendai city with million population.
In spring to autumn, you can touch various attractive nature. It's very exciting.

However, most of people don't want to go to the forest because they think "There is no flowers, so it's not interesting in winter season".
It's wrong. It's misunderstanding.

The winter-forest shows many beautiful and attractive view to us.
